Registered Dental Assistant
I have been in dentistry for 28 years, the last 10 of those with Dr. Rogers as his Restorative and Implant Dental Assistant. In my years of dental experience, I have held multiple positions including dental assistant, receptionist and office manager. However, my passion is being chairside with patients and helping create plans for their dental health while, also, keeping them comfortable through the dental procedures.
I attended U.T.A. and am always excited about continuing education. I look forward to ways I can improve my talents and grow as a professional to help our patients.
Outside of dentistry, my life is all about family and friends. My husband, Paul, and I spend much of our time watching our two kids play competitive soccer. Our daughter, Erin, is 14 and our son, Cole, is now 12. We all enjoy movies, beaches, hanging out with friends and amazing food.
Registered Dental Hygienist
At a young age, I was impressed by and admired dental hygienists I knew. So much, it inspired me to pursue it as a profession. I attended Tarrant County College to obtain my dental hygiene degree and have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 32 years.
For the last 20 years, I have worked with Dr. Rogers educating and helping maintain patient’s dental health. I specifically enjoy helping patients feel comfortable in what can be an uncomfortable situation with an attentive, caring gratefulness for allowing me to serve them. In addition to my responsibilities professionally as a hygienist, I also have significant experience in bite splint therapy and night guard fabrication.
I feel I was raised by the best parents and strive to continue that legacy with my family. I’m blessed to live my life with my husband, Pete, and our son, Turner. We are excited to see him develop his dreams of being a professional baseball player as he has been drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays organization. It helps fuel my love of sports. I hope to travel more with Pete including watching Turner pitch. My other love is with pets (owning 6 rescue animals) and I love cooking.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I am a graduate of Texas Woman’s University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, I received the Rising Star award in which I was voted to be most successful as a dental educator. That initial success has translated from an educational program into a clinical role. I have spent my professional career educating and treating patients around the metroplex until I found my “dental home” at Dr. Rogers practice in Dalworthington Gardens the last 4 years.
Each year I use my continuing education to help individualize care for patients. I chose this career path because I love teeth, am detail oriented and like to meet new people. This allows me to keep a positive, progressive outlook in my professional career and for each patient.
My absolute favorite aspect of dentistry is when my patients truly recognize the improvement in their dental health. I enjoy learning about my patients and developing a trustworthy, reliable relationship as their hygienist. The additional, strong relationship with my office team makes it ideal to treat people.
If I didn’t take this career path I would be a professional jockey or polo player! I enjoy riding horses, hunting and spending my time outdoors with family and friends. I volunteer as a committee member in Stewards of the Wild Fort Worth Chapter where I help connect and educate the public about the great outdoors.
I have one older brother who is 6’8”, two of the best parents you could ask for, one cat, one dog and three horses. I am loyal, determined, on-the-go, social and work hard. One of my favorite books is called “The Hunt” : Target, track, and attain your goals by David Farbman. A must read!!!!!
